Can somebody tell me if the unit will adjust for DST automatically? I'm leaving for a week and want to set my programs, but am unsure what will happen after this weekend. I have the time clock set automatically through my local PBS station, but I don't think that the unit "checks" and updates the time since I have to manually tune to the PBS station through the cable box (which I only did when I set the unit up a few months ago). I'm wondering if I should just assume that it won't change, and set all programs post-sunday to one hour ahead (California). Or another option that I thought of, would be to have the unit record 30 mintues of a random PBS show on Sunday to allow the unit to "check" with that station and update the clock. I would appreciate some input before these creative ideas of mine screw up all my pograms![]()

I would say that if your unit has auto clock set, then yes, it will adjust for daylight savings time. If you had to set the time yourself, I would not depend on it.
The VCR unit I used to own had auto clock set and would adjust for daylight savings time automatically.TANSTAAFL -
