I have couple of dvds that have non functional menus, they are not removed, just not working. When i start the dvd it goes right to the movie and when i press the menu button it just starts from the begining. Can this be fixed? Thanks!

P.S. when i open it with dvdshrink menu folder is empty but the menu files with some extras?? are in unreferenced material folder????

I suspect that someone wanted it that DVD to bypass the menus, and changed it to work that way. If this is copyrighted material obtained from an unauthorized source, the best way to fix it would be to buy a legal copy of the DVD. Judging by the posts on this site, warez versions are often incomplete or butchered in some way. Otherwise, you will need to to spend a few hours of your time (or possibly several days if you are inexperienced) to regain use of the menus.

To use PgcEdit to do what you want requires a few computer programming skills to figure out how it works now and to re-program it to work differently. PgcEdit's trace function will allow you to see how the DVD works now and debug your changes. The other way is to extract the movie, the extras, and the menu assets and re-author the DVD to work the way you want. Search VideoHelp for guides on how to use PgcEdit and guides on DVD authoring.
