svcd photo slide shows

hey im trying to make a Photo CD SVCD with Ulead Movie Factory and i got a couple of questions what should the resolution be for the pics and how can i get them to fit on the whole tv screen with good resolution thankx in advance
will photoshop resixe the pics with good resulution or what othe program will do this job?

I havent tried Ulead. My images are 2048 x 1536 x 24bit. They are displayed PERFECTLY on my PAL tv.
I use Nero. Just make svcd/vcd and add the images to the cd.
Of course you should try different settings to get what you want. (eks. set picture delay to 6 seconds - just rightclick pictures)

Resolution should be 704x480 for NTSC and 704x576 for PAL.

You should be aware of a problem with aspect ratio that nobody seems to know much about (least of all the programmers of various authoring proggies): http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd/mpeg_still_images.html
