Hello All
I have had a look on this site and a few others for a User Friendly guide for editing in Vegas 5.0
Has anyone come across such a guide that will tutor a user to create simple transitions and titles/credits etc..
Thanks

I actually find the User Manual for Vegas to be pretty well-written and easy to understand.
if you check the Creative Cow website, you can find links to various tutorial sites for Vegas.- housepig

It may be well written, but it is the most skimpy manual I have ever come across. There is a book coming out Aug 1st, it should be definative.Originally Posted by housepig
I also found references in the manual to some buttons to click that I could not tell if they were keyboard keys, or buttons on the screen. I never found them. I just could not get very far there.
And I do not pay for online guides.

That book is over three times the size of the one that came in the Sony Vegas box. And it is in color. The packaged book is 103 pages and in b&w. The downloadable one is 320 pages and has some color illistrations to boot. Its like the exact same layout and format, but more everything.Originally Posted by BJ_M
