  1. I've searched for over an hour and found alot of information on dvd covers etc... but I would like to know where is the cheapest place to purchase dvd labels in Canada (just for the dvd itself)?

I've read about different quality of paper and the dimensions, but there is alot of controversy about which type is best.

    Any suggestions?

  2. one Sharpie marker can label a bunch of disks... one bad paper label can cost you a disk and a player..
    Always check helpfiles/instructions before leaping...

  4. How can a paper label cause problems?

Is it because it may tear off?

  5. A freshly labeled DVD would might work well for a few weeks. Then as the adhesive looses it's elesticity, you're going to get more and more pixelation. The reason being that plastic grows more due to heat than paper. When the disk gets a little warm, it becomes slightly dished, as the label wants to prevent the growth of plastic. Then the player would have trouble reading it properly. I spent a lot of time removing about 150 labels over the Xmas holidays. They all play fine now.

Don't use sticky paper labels. You'll be sorry later.

Be careful when using labels, I think it's a big NO NO!
    See this link why.
