  1. Just went through my first batch of dual sided 9.4's and single sided inkjet DVD-R's and I am very happy to find no rejects. The 9.4 "DupEZ" are $2.30 each and come in high quality soft poly dual-disc snap cases, the 4.2 Optodiscs have full printable spindles and are only $.80 each. Thumbs up in price and quality.

Funny, I'm on the "sharpie" (or equivalent) side of the "sharpie vs label" debate - but I'd never thought about how neither would work for double-sided discs. :P

Of the five double-sided DVD-Rs that I bought, I never labelled them. I also didnt keep them in dark boxes either so they started having problems from being constantly exposed to light. I re-burned them onto 1-sided DVD-R ... and bought some Sharpie pens!

  6. I just put a dot opposite of side one (if it's not obvious from hub markings) and print a nice glossy jewel case insert. My Epson 960 prints incredible factory-like inserts on 90lb photo paper. To each his own I guess.

  7. Does anyone here know if double-sided CDRs exist and if so, where I can get a good deal on them? I didn't see any on rima.com
