    Ok I have this mpeg file that I want to convert to divx, weird thing is the aspect of the orginal file is like almost a widescreen movie (which the source is not) so that is has a stretched look.

    Is there a way to fix this either before or during the conversion process?

    You can load the video into TMPGEnc Plus!, Load a template, and select Output to File-->AVI. Select your codec, and go from there.

    Seems to be working great, thanks. As you can tell video conversion is a huge weak point for me.
