    I don't mean for this to be very broad so sorry if it is. But, What do you say would be the best capturing device for sport events 3 hours plus on regular VHS tapes?

    I tried to use pinnacle studio and it drops frames with video this long causing my audio to be off.

    Is Canopus the best? That's what it seems like.

    Did you tried DV camcorder passtrough ?
    Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home)
