I am a noobie to DVDs.
I used DVDdecyptor to rip a backup of a movie. I then used DVDShrink to shrink all the menus, extras, etc. to allow the full content to be burned to a single DVD+R.
The Burn finished, but Shrink gave me a burn error.
When I pulled the disc out and dropped it into my two stand alone players, it played on both.
I tried hitting "Play Movie" from the menu, but nothing happens. I have to select the first chapter, but it plays from then on fine.
Does anyone have any idea what the error might have been and why I can still play the movie?
BTW: Decryptor and Shrink ROCK!!![]()

Might be a disc error, but not bad enough to make it unreadable.
Scan the disc with DVDInfo (addware) or Nero CD-DVD Speed (free) -
I occasionally get disk burns with DVDShrink/Nero that seems to hang at 99%. But they played fine with no probm's at all. Could it be just a glitch in the reporting screen of the SW.
