Windows XP pro Pioneer 106D Nero6
Problem just started on my computer, When I try to copy a copy it writes to the hard drive no problem but as it starts to write to the 106 it burns a small amount then stops and tells me there is a communication error, result 1 coaster. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the 106, and reinstalling Nero still no joy. Can anybody help me.

Please try first to change your IDE cable. It looks like the cable fails.
