    Is it normal for a 4.7gig movie to take 12-24 hours to author (single M2V & AC3 streams) using TMPGenc DVD Author on 1.8 ghz PC? How can I speed things up?

    Not normal at all. Mine only takes up to half an hour. Are you re-sampling the audio or something ? Using the PC while its working ? It sounds like something is pulling on your CPU usage pretty drastically.
    If in doubt, Google it.
