So far I've only used TMPGEnc DVD Author (TDA) for basic stuff like adding menus to captured video with no subtitle streams and only 1 audio channel. I finally decided to try extracting some VOB files with multiple subtitle streams and audio tracks and adding these VOBs into TDA so I could add a nice menu. I quickly found out that TDA cannot deal with subtitles or multiple audio tracks.
Even though the output files didn't get smaller (implying the subtitle and additional audio streams are still encoded in the new VOB files), PowerDVD only shows 1 audio stream and no subtitle streams available.
Given this limitation of TDA, what's the next best authoring program that allows menu creation and can handle subtitles and multiple audio streams? I don't require the subtitles or audio stream to be selectable through the menu (though that would be nice), but I'd at least like to be able to access them manually through the DVD player.
