Encrypted Data Error with DVDXcopy Platinum 3.2.1 (Advanced)

Hi wondering if anyone else has been having this problem:

I have a Sony DRU-500A 2X Dvd Burner and have burned a ton of movies in the past. IN fact I backed up 007 Die Another day with no problems.

I have been trying to back up a copy of The World Is Not Enough (007)
and each time around 33% of the read (shrinking DVD also) in advanced mode, I get the dreaded Encrypted Data Error. I have disengaged anything running and no screen savers etc. No other programs are running to slow the process down.

The DVD has some scratches on it, because it is used, but I cannot figure it out!!!

I even tried DVDXrescue and it freezes up after about 2 GB copied...must be hanging up on the same issue.

Well thanks for all the tips I will try backing up my movie with the software and see if it works.

You use DVD Decrypter and then DVD Shrink?

What do you use to actually burn it? DVD Shrink?
