I am using V-Dub to delete sections from a mpeg 2 home movie. When I try to save the finished file I want to save it in the same format, not AVI.
How do I do this? It seems to save in AVI no matter what I try. Maybe I could use another program.
Thanks.

Vdub just does different flavors of AVI. If you want to use it to edit, you could convert to MPG with an encoder or faster, frameserve to an encoder. The other choice is to edit in MPG with one of several commercial MPG editors.
