  1. Hi everyone. Because i'm not sure where to ask this i decided to do it here. I really need help deciding what are the best combinations between aspect ratios and framerates.

    23,976(NTSC) --- 16:9 ou 4:3

    25(PAL) --- 16:9 ou 4:3

    23,976(NTSC) --- 16:9 ou 4:3

    25(PAL) --- 16:9 ou 4:3

I'm asking this because i'm willing to convert divx to dvd but don't know what the best of this choices above. Or for example say i have a divx 23,976 4:3 and i want to convert it to a dvd 23,976 16:9, what would be the difference??? or vice-versa???
Or i have a divx 25 fps 16:9 and i want to convert it to a dvd 25 fps 4:3 or vice versa?? What would bve the differences??
Is it better to keep the source settings when creating the dvd movie??? What would give me the best quality??
Thanks in advance for all the help i can get!!!

Note that my tv and dvd player supports everything, both ntsc and pal

  2. Stick to the same frame rate keeps the audio in sync.
Aspect ratio keep the same especially if you have a wide screen TV.
