Hi,
I have just tried to capture a VHS movie to my PC via my Panasonic GS50 video camera.
However the captured movie came out shaky on all 4 sides of the movie ?
I ran the supplied video camera cable (Av one end, 3 RCA plugs other end) from the AV in / out on my digital video recorder to the VHS machine.
Then I connected my firewire cable from the video camera to my PC.
I tried capturing in Premiere 6, Video Studio 7 & Win Producer 3, all captured movies came out the same
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated

Contact the manufacturer's support first. If we assume that all connections are OK the question is whether your camera is doing proper job. Is your preview shaky as well? Have you tried other tapes, sources? How is the camera transfer (alone DV to PC)? What is "shaky"?

"Shaky" - preview looks fine the edges look a little distorted after mpeg creation.
I just tried to capture straight from the VHS to a blank tape on my video camera. The result was much better, however once I create the mpeg I noticed a small jittery line at the bottom of the movie.
