  1. I have been trying to author a DVD that has a QuickTime movie trailer that I downloaded off the web, but I have been unsuccessful at getting the DVD to play the audio portion. What am I doing wrong?

First, I used TNPGEnc encoder to convert the .MOV trailer into a .MP2 file format. Then I used TMPGEnc Author to prepare the .MP2 file so that I can use DVD Shrink to convert this into an .ISO file that I can then mount using Deamon Tools and finally burn the image to disc using Roxio's disc copier. The picture comes out fine on my Toshiba SD-4800 DVD player, but there is no audio. I feel as if I am suppose to be doing something with the TMPGEnc encoder to make the audio come out properly. Any ideas?

    Thanks for your help.

Make sure that when you load it into TMPGenc, it shows both a video source and an audio source (which should both be the Quicktime mov). It will then output a .mpg file. You should only get one output file, not an MP2 (audio only). Use the default DVD template from TMPGenc.

When you load it in DVD Author, make sure it shows both a video and audio stream. Output your disc to a VIDEO_TS folder, then you don't have to mount it to burn it.
