Hi,
What is the best capturing hardware and software for video and audio for TV, online, stereo, and so on? Please and thank you. Does it capture at least as good as a VCR if not better? Please and thank you.
I am using the DVC 80 right now, which is not very impressive, and a VCR even records a lot better.![]()

'Best' is very subjective. Not an easy question to answer and you will get quite a few opinions. For video capture cards, AIW is popular. Check lordsmurf.com. For hardware solutions, ADVC-100 is popular. One generalzation is that the better the quality, to more work it takes to get it. Spend some time studying the 'Capture' section and the 'Capture Cards' section to the left. You might also try to find a forum on the net that talks about your present card to see if you can get better quality from it.
