BT878, NTSC4.43 & PLL settings

hi, i'm trying to capture ntsc 3.58 tapes through a PAL vcr using NTSC4.43 mode (NOT NTPB/PAL60 mode).
i'm using a bt878 card w/ btwincap drivers.

ntsc4.43 is not PAL60 :
it seems that the color bandwidth is not the same,
when i send a ntsc4.43 signal to my cap. card configured to PAL_60, the image is correct but the colors are not the good ones.
i've tried many differents softwares, and one (K!TV XP) let me choose the PLL settings (wich let the bt878 know if it's 4.43 or 3.58)

i'm sending a true PAL B signal to my card :
when i'm capturing PAL B video(PAL BDGHI under btwincap), image is perfect and when i choose PLL to 3.58 i'm getting a b&w picture (as any pal3.58 signal on pal4.43 receiver)

but when i'm sending NTSC_M and capturing NTSC_M video (NTSCM or japan under btwincap), image is ok w/ colors but this time the PLL doesn't do anything it seems it's always on 3.58, no way to change it...

because NTSC4.43 is exactly the same as NTSC3.58 but w/ pll set to another mode.
btw : ntsc4.43 is not ntsc japan : japan is ntsc 3.58 w/ IRE=0 (lum. mode)

so if any1 got an idea on how to get this working it would be great !!

You need a true multi-system VHS VCR ... a model that can playback NTSC 3.58 without any kind of conversion to anything else.

Many models out there that do this.

but i'm sure the bt878 can do this mode, it's exactly NTSC 3.58 but w/ PLL set in another way,
on a bt848 u have PLL=0 or 1 or 2
on a bt878 u have PLL=0 or 1

on bt848 PLL=0=autodetect
=1=3.58 (28)
=2=4.43 (35)
on bt878 PLL=0=autodetect(defaut=3.58)
=1=4.43

the problem is that ntsc4.43 is not configured in btwincap or any other drivers, it seems also that pinnacle DC10 got also a bt878 and support ntsc4.43 ....

some softwares like dscaler or ktv!xp can bypass the driver and use the card as they want but dscaler do not support ntsc4.43 and ktvxp use the driver setting but permits PLL settings but it will only work w/ a bt848, even if pll settings are affecting pal or secam color carrier frequency, it don't work on NTSC w/ a bt878.

any idea would be really appreciated...
