I had a bunch of PAL VCDs (I live in Canada) that I wanted to convert to DVD-VCD so I followed the guides here and used TMPGenc DVD Author to author the DVD but the DVD wouldnt play, it turns out that my DVD player cannot play PAL DVDs even though it can play the PAL VCDs no problem.
So I opened the VIDEO_TS.ifo file in ifoedit and in video manager menu attributes I changed it from PAL to NTSC.
The DVD now works but the menu is all screwed up, alot of the top and bottom are cut off (I expected this to happen) and the menu buttons arent aligned properly, they are a bit lower than they are suppose to be. The video plays fine though. I probably shoudn't expect the DVD to work perfectly but is there a way I can fix this. I tried menu edit but that didnt work.
