    How can I convert a Region 2 DVD in PAL to a Region 1 NTSC DVD?

    Firstly, let me say that you want to be sure that you need to do this before attempting it. Region-freeing the disc will make it play if your DVD player can play both PAL and NTSC. It would be wise to check this out first because you can just region free the disc with DVD Shrink if this is the case.

    If not, there are some guides here and here and here and here(took about a minute to find them in the guides section to the left).
    If in doubt, Google it.

    i second using shrink. but if you have a descent dvd player and tv there should be no need...check out the hacks to make dvd player region free
