  2. I gather you are frameserving with the Subtitle Filter ? Have you checked the avi for bad frames using virtualdub ? Will it frameserve without the Subtitle Filter ?

  4. Can you open up the avi direct with TMPGenc ? If so instead of frameserving try applying the filter to a direct stream copy of the avi and loading that into TMPGenc.

If you can't get that to open in TMPGenc try repacking the avi and opening that in TMPGenc.

Ok we're struggling here as English obviously isn't your first language and me being a brit I speak only English.

I understand you need to add subtitles to a movie.

And that you want to convert this to SVCD.

OK Tmpgenc doesn't work when you try and frameserve. So I am suggesting you forget frameserving for the moment. Make a new avi with subtitles using virtualdub then load the new file straight into TMPGenc and convert from there.

I assume that means the file size is huge ?

In virtualdub under video choose "direct stream copy" NOT "full processing mode". Then save your file with the subtitles.

  11. Sorry my mistake. You'll need to use "Full Processing Mode" but under Video > Compression choose a suitable codec, NOT uncompressed as the file will be massive. Give that a try.

?? Do you mean it'll take about 30mins to complete ? Maybe I don't know, let it run through check to ensure the subtitles have come out ok then run it through TMPGenc.
