    I have a problem with Tmpgenc, when I have encoded from VOB file using DVD2AVI then make an Mpeg the result is the finished Mpeg is all distorted whenever there is motion. Any ideas ??????????

    sounds like incorrect field order/interlacing settings.

    yeah its sounds like a low bitrate or something... i recommend you read the guides for TMPGEnc..

    I have used this program many times... to encode both SVCD's and DVDs... so if you continue to have problems with the final copy being drastically lower in quality than the first... feel free to send me a PM and ill do what i can to help
