Help! Help!
I am sick and tired of chopping my large video files into pieces to remove the unwanted ads parts by parts every 15-30 mins interval. And just to final merged the ads-less video clips back into a big chunk.
Is there any easier way out?
Presently I am using Ulead Video Studio 6.
I am seeking for alternate video editor which allow me to define multiple mark-in mark-out markers to simplify removal of unwanted TV ads off my captured video clips of my favourite show.
Thanks buddy..
Kevin

Give virtualdub a try, you simply select the mark in and out points and press the delete key. You can only select one in and out at a time, but it is really quick and easy to do.

Each time I trim, the editor need to refresh the file, and in my MPEG2 files, it takes 10-20 minutes for short clips, if larger files, hours.
All I wish to achieve is to place the markers before and after the number of adverts, probably 5-6 times in a 2 hours show.
I could mark them at night, and let the editing run overnight while I sleep peacefully, and had the finished clips by sunrise.
Thanks anyway for your input..

You didn't say it was MPEG video. If it was
AVI Craig had the perfect answer for you.
For MPEG2 the fastest is Womble MPEG2 VCR
You just select and cut sections out and save the file.
Takes about 5 minutes to process a 2 hour movie
