  1. I have a VCD movie where i wan't to remove the existing subtitles(I don't want new ones, I just want to get rid of them).
Is there any easy way to do this?

    Thanks in advance

  2. Well... If I remember correctly, VIRTUALDUB has a plugin/filter that does this. I'm not sure how well it does it, but give it a try. Get VDub from http://www.VirtualDub.org and take a look at the list of filters it has there.

    Hope that helps.

  3. Actually, the plug-in you're probably thinking about is to remove video bugs, not subtitles.

If these subtitles are embedded in the video data as actually part of the image, you're out of luck.

  4. I was pretty sure that there was one.. but maybe I confused it with this: DeLogo filter for VDub.

Uhm, ok.. well it may not be a subtitler remover, this is the closest you can find to one. It can remove logos and text. Works well especially if alpha blending was used. Now, I'm not sure how it works, but it looks to me that removing subtitles will be a pain, even with this program, because it's meant for static logos, rather than constantly changing text. I suggest you check it out at least:

    Hope this helps.
