I've got a Pioneer 103 that has worked well for a few years until now. If I burn a Memorex DVD rewritable using Nero, the burn completes successfully but when I try to read the disc my DVD writer and DVD ROM neither will read the disc. The Pioneer writer just spins and the ROM just sits there. I have some old RiData RW's that I can write to and everything goes fine. What is really strange is I have been able to write to the Memorex discs before.
Any thoughts?

First thoughts is that the burner's days are limited.
I too had an A03 that I loved, It still worked when I sold a few weeks ago, but I felt that it was drawing near the end too.
Keep in mind that burners are not like stereos that last for generations.
In fact I know many stories of burners having more and more errors throughout thier years.
My advice to you is to try to burn at 1x and see if you can get a succesful write. Also I would use verify data with a nero like program.
Finally, I would try to get the newest firmware.
Good luck
