Hi,
I'm trying to burn an SVCD ,here is what I did:
- Download movie using PinnacleStudio8.5
- Convert it to MPEG2 (SVCD) using PS8.5
- Produce cue/bin using VCDEasy
- burn cue/bin using VCDEasy.
But in the last step, VCD Easy tells me that I'm getting "buffer under run?"
I've already have CDRDAO v 1.1.7, ASPI 4.71. - am using generic-mmc-raw driver.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Buffer underruns are a hardware problem with your CD burner. Modern burners all have underrun protection, so the easiest solution would be to just get a new CD burner! I got an Asus 52x burner (24x re-write) for about 50 Euro last year, so they're dirt cheap anyway.

try slowing down your burn rate. if you have a 48x, dont use the max. drop it to about 24 or so. i keep mineon 12x (48xmax) and i very rarely have buffer underrun.
