My Pioneer A06 dvd writer suddenley won't read dvd-r that I have burned.
If i go into My computer (windows xp) the dvd drive is listed as
Name - DVD-RW Drive
Type - CD Drive
If I go into properites it says this device is working properly.
It will still read dvd-rw and manfactured dvd's, not sure about dvd+r (have none to test), audio cd's, cd-r etc just not already burned dvd-r.
But I can still burn to dvd-r, if I put a blank dvd-r disc in, in My computer changes to a cd drive but says size off disc is 4.38gb. And in Pinnacle Instant cd it says blank dvd-r and I can burn to it, which goes fine but then can't read the burned disc.
The writer is 7 months old and no problems until today.
Any help?
