    I have ALREADY captured a TV show that is 41/2 hours long and 5.6 GIGs in size.

    How can I put this on a DVDR (4.7GIGs)?

    You could take the file as is, author your DVD files...then load it up in DVDShrink, do a bit of work there and then make it fit onto a single DVD-R.
