Upon playing back several DVD+Rs that I made a few months ago, I found that they tended to freeze up on my PC and on my set top DVD player they froze only when accessing the last two or three chapters. It appears that some of the file headers cannot be accessed, and maybe there are more errors, too!! Is there an easy-to-use (and cheap or FREE) program or programs that can read, analyze and correct these errors, or must I go back to the digital tapes and re-record/reauthor these DVDs. While they appeared to be OK when I originally created these DVDS, I cannot understand why these errors have popped up (and playback errors occur on at least 4 or 5 different players, recorders, standalones, PC drives--you name it!). These DVD+Rs are Riteks. While I could NOT rip these DVDs to attempt to record copies, I WAS able to use NERO to do a copy of the complete disks. However, the copies exhibit these read errors, too!! Any advice, suggestions?
