I use DVDShrink to rip the movie's main title, and never had a problem with the subtitle before. However, on this particular Korean movie (Guns & Talks), the subtitle can only be viewed on PC, and not on TV. I tried on both Mintek and AMW. To make it more interesting, both players do recognize the english subtitle stream, but not displaying it on tv. Can this problem be fixed? Thanks very much in advance.

Yes, I did use the remote to turn off then turn on subtitle again. The dvd player also confirms that the subtitle stream is English. This is mind bogling for me. Please help. Thanks Tommyknocker

just a wild guess -- but perhaps the subtitles are outside the safe area ..
problem is worse if PAL source dvd ..
on your pc -- are the subtitles real low on the screen ?"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
