trying to backup my dvd!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone recommend a good program to use for making a backup copy of a DVD in my collection???

I am trying it using Nero 6 at the moment but it doesn't seem to be working. I insert the disk that i want to copy and choose the option to copy disk, however Nero is telling me that there is not enough space. This is without even asking me to insert the blank disk.

The only thing that i can think of is that Nero is calculating the free space on the disk that i am trying to copy FROM (Both of the disks are 4.7g in size and the free space that it calculates when added to the space needed adds up to give roughly 4.7g).

HELP....please!

you are probably trying to backup a DVD-9 to a DVD-5 , check out the glossary on the left as well but DVD-9 is dual layer and DVD-5 is single layer
