DVD Author Problems with multiple utilities

Trying to author a DVD from a avi file. I followed the guide to convert from AVI to DVD and have everything ready to be authored. Below are my issues with tools in order of the preference I have to use the tool.

DVD-Lab Issue:
So I tried dvd-lab which I think I prefer over the others so far for creating menus, It's just after I import the assets and drag the movie and the ac3 audio to the movie. I built my menus and burnt the cd. Guess what, no audio. When I preview it in DVD-Lab, I get no audio there. I tired looking for a guide, but no luck that helped with my issue.

TMPGEnc issue:
I ran into a TMPGEnc DVD Author problem that I found the fix for(ac3fix had to be run).

The problem is when I get to the point when I click the "Begin Output" button, TMPGEnc goes away. It creates the directory then dies.

NeroVision Express 2:
Is there a way to make a top menu and then have the chapters on another menu? Best I can tell it forces the first menu to be chapters.

Nevermind, got DVD-Lab to work after using ac3fix.exe!
