I just got a NEC ND-2500A (DVD-/+RW Burner) and I am looking to buy some Blank DVD-R disks, I was looking on the internet for a good price and I noticed that different brands are compatible with different drives (so they say)...
What I want to know is... is this true that only certin disks work with certin drives? If so why? My cd-r (witch I know is slightly different then DVD) works with ALL types of cd-r/rw that I have bought, why wouldn’t every blank DVD maker have their product meet the same standards and work in the same drives as everyone else?
Also, just because my drive isn’t listed on the compatibility list, does that mean it will not work? I am told the drive I have is pretty popular...
Any answers/opinions would be much appreciated, Thanks!![]()
