I have an mpg file that conforms to vcd except it is too large to fit
on a 650MB CD. Actually I have six of these. Can I put them on one DVD? If so how?

JustSomeGuy, note that VCD does away with the error correction overhead that is used on ISO data CDs. That means an 800 meg VCD compliant MPEG file will fit on a 700 meg CD-R if you burn it as a VCD, maybe even a 650 meg CD-R.

Yes you can . I use TMPGenc DVD Author for that job . You can get around 7 hours of mpg1 onto a dvd-r . The only thing wrong with the vcd-mpg is the audio will be at 44.1KHz but TMPGenc DVD Author will convert that to 48KHz for you which will make it DVD compliant . Then burn to a dvd-r .
