  1. When using DVD shrink what is the max compression setting before quality starts to suffer

    i usually dont go under 70% - i like tog et around 75 - 80 - i usually make the extra 's still images if it is under 70 - not sure what other ppl use as a "safe" area

    Critical limit is 55%. Usualy if you use Deep Analysis you should not observe any quality loss even on 60%.

  4. in an older version of dvdshrink, you could make the credits still images to save more space for the actual movie. however, it looks like this feature is not in the newest version of dvdshrink. any ideas?

  5. used to be able to make the credits stills? wonder why its not on the newer version? that would be a good feature.....

    I try not to go below 75%. I will cut credits/intro to get it as high as possible (I usually dump menu's/extras). I can almost always hit 85% (except for movies like LOTR).

  7. I do believe you can change the transcoding of the credits only in the reathor mode.

  8. My min. is 65% but it depends on how much action(eg. motion,explosions,etc) and the bitrate the film has,I have used Deep Analysis but I can't tell the differance.
