Is there a way, or has anyone ever tried to change the audio pitch in an .avi file? I have a few old .avi files i was working with and while I was somewhat able to change the pitch, the sound went out of sync from the video afterward after playing it back. Is there a way to fix the video so that it would be in sync with the audio if I was to change the pitch? Reason i asked was because some of the audio on the avi were a bit too slow for my tastes...id thought to perhaps speed it up a bit so that it can sound better for my tastes. Any help would be appreciated. I do use Premeire 6.5 for most of my video editing work.

You can stretch the audio while preserving pitch with Goldwave. Go to Effect>Time Warp.
