Do any of you to a daily routine of exercise?

Every-other day I do situps and push ups. I started at 25 situps and 10 pushups and worked my way up since then. I'm now at 70 situps and 35 pushups.

What kind of exercises do y'all do?

I just do some crunches, push-ups, sit-ups, and curls with the weights I have @ home. I try at least once a day but that hasnt been happening for a few weeks due to the amount of workload I have.

I used to train just about every day in the gym to get fit, pump the muscles and to exercise. Training at the gym was my life for 17 years. Not anymore due to ill health.

My program: Typical training time, an hour. I was doing just about everything in the gym. Push ups is one and chins in the other.

Sundays: upper body, arms using free weights and machines
    Mondays: bike riding
Tuesdays: leg workout on weight machines
    Wednesdays: bike riding
Thursdays: upper body using dumbbells and barbells.
    Fridays: Lat workout and stretching
    Saturdays: break.

I’ll be concentrating on bike riding to lose weight on my return to the gym very soon. This depends on how I feel and this bug in the head still worries me at times. I am getting older and this doesn't help either.

Walking won't really help you lose weight, and it won't help if you've got a really bad diet. But if you eat decently healthy, it'll help keep off the pounds.

I do 70 situps a day also, but I do them on a 45 degree incline.

I do Free Wieghts....... that's where it's at.

I'll be 43 next month and I can still bench 3 sets of 225 lbs @ 10 reps each. I'm 5' 7", wiegh 165 lbs and still have a 30 in waist. It would be imposible to accomplish all that without working out.

You metric dudes will have to do the conversion to kg.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

I was similar at your age 8 years ago. I was very lean and very fit. I was a gym junkie and do just about anything every day.

I'll be 51 this year. After a six month gym absence, I’ll be coming back soon.

dude, there is no way you could burn 400 cals in 10 mins, thats insane!!!! if you skipped furiously for 15 mins you would prob do it, or afit guy went crazy on a treadmill for about 20 mins, then you would burn 400 cals, but a dance mat- i doubt it dude!!!

racer x- 225 lbs = 102 kgs! 3 sets of 10 reps, nice 1 man!!! oh yeah, and i agree, free weights are the way to go man!!! machines suck!

Sadly so. All this get off the bus one stop early and walk is utter crap - you're better off not having a chocolate bar as a morning snack.

Overindulgence is easy - it's only when you have to burn it off that you realise how much you have to do!
