I used both Tmpeg and CCE to convert an xviD to a mpeg file (tmpeg gave me .mpg and CCE gave me .mpv) but for both the frame rates were wrong. They looked to be playing at around 11 fps, according to winamp, but when I put the file in Tmpegenc DVD authoring program, it says the fps is 25 fps, just as planned. I made a DVD folder, and ran that, but still the video is choppy, it seems half the frames have gone missing. I dont know whether it'll work fine in a standalone DVD player, but Id rather find out than waste my time
