  1. Hi all,
I'm new here. I've searched the forum and failed to find a reply to the following question : how can one change the menu of a DVD ? I mean, the background picture. I want to add subtitles to the DVD and make it possible to select them from a new-to-make menu. I've looked at MenuEdit and it does allow me to add/delete buttons but I want text (e.g. 'Dutch' for Dutch subs) underneath that button.
I'd highly appreciate it if someone could point out to me how to do it. Which software do I need (commercial or not, doesn't matter) ?
    Thank in advance !

i think you might be able to use TMPGenc DVD Author and open the DVD up - as long as it is not protected -

  4. I've just tried to do it in TMPGenc DVD Author but I can only create new menus, not change an existing menu. Also, it doesn't handle subtitles.
Any more ideas, please ? Thanks.

Not saying it impossible because its not, but I have never seen software to do this.

  6. OK, thanks. I'll have to find another solution, then.
Could I somehow extract the menu background pic, change it in an image editor, then put it back in place ?
