DVD-R MP3 file backup problems

I have a couple of problems with MP3 files on a DVD-R

i) I have backed up a load of MP3 files to DVD-R (Pioneer A05 / Imation media) using Nero. All appeared to burn okay but whan I go back anf try and access the data, I can see the files / directories on the disk but am unable to either access them or copy them. Any ideas how to recover ?

ii) On a different MP3 DVD backup disk (that does work !!!). My standalone DVD player will play MP3 CD's no problem, but will not recognise a data disk full of MP3 files. Is there anything additional I need to do to make a playable MP3 DVD disk ?

might be the way you are burning the files. udf/iso has highest prob i think. and not all players can recognize mp3 dvd. do a search on dvd players that read dvd mp3 <<<<<<<<<<<<yeah to your left
