Hi
When I try to make a dvd with nero and other programs, it ends up with a dish for the trash can. It's files from my hdd - files that sometimes burns without problems, but more than half of them crashes. I've tried many diffrent brands of disc's - same result ;o(
My dvd-r is a lite on 411 external )USB)
Here's my nero log:

may be a problem with your burner
Starting Physical Sector Number of Data Area: 30000 h (DVD-ROM, DVD-R/-RW, DVD+R/+RW)

If you can return the drive I would.
I would take the IDE drive out of the USB2 box and install the drive inside your computer. You may be having bandwidth problems with your USB2, this will eliminate that.
Try another format, you have 4 to choose from. -R and -RW don't seem to work as well as +R and +RW in the 411S drives (in my experience). -
did you use + media or -media ??
