I'm deciding between these 2 printers for my DVD labelling.
Is the R800 worth the extra $200 ?
Is the colors better because it uses 8 inks instead of 6 ?
Does the R800 better in terms of smearing ?
Thanks

ny,
From all that I have read on the two printers, it would seem that the R800 is better for regular printing. The smearing question I brought up approximately a week or two ago on this same forum. It has been said that the problem still persists with the R800. But for regular photos, it appears that they are definetly waterproof because of the glossy covering offered by the R800. I am still up in the air as which to get myself, but will probably go for the R300. -
insane,
I just bought the R300M, the monitor is good for my wife.
The photos printed so far are excelent, haven't tried printing on disc yet. Still trying to figure out best way of designing the label with Photoshop and then printing with the Epson software. -

Thanks quadforce,
I checked it out as well as coverfiend but most of what I do requires custom made labels. I do photo and video montages set to music for my family and friends.
