Nero burn says successful but the media is blank!

Hello- Hoping for a little help with this. I use DVDShrink for my dual layer backups but the last time I attempted a backup I received an error at 98% stating file is corrupt. Knowing, this file is probably just an extra, I decided to rip the movie vob's and ifo's using DVD Drcypter. This got me down to 3.6GB which I moved to the video folder in Nero 6.0.3 for the burn. The burn took place and the Nero message told me it was successful but there is nothing playable on the disc. My DVD PC player tells me the file is unplayable because it is unrecognizable. Somehow the data is on the disc but I cant play it. Any help would be much appreciated so I can pinpoint what I did wrong. Thanks for your time.

can you play the files using powerdvd or other dvd player on your computer?
