  1. I want to take a ten year old VHS tape and pass it thru my panasonic PV-DV852 mini dv cam into adobe premiere 6.5. Once into premiere I am going to convert with adobes mpeg convertor to DVD files to burn to DVD. My question is what should I set my premiere project setting aspect ratio to? I am thinking 640x480, but isn't vhs 352x240. I have read some articles on aspect ratios, but it isn't quite sinking in.

    Thanks

I believe the default is DV-NTSC. You should have it ready to go upon opening up...

So your capture, project, and movie settings should be all the same. Premiere should default to what you want....

    Good luck!!!
