I've been trying some test burns with the MPEGXS and am trying to choose between it and TMPGenc.
I've some positive posts about the Main Concept SDK that is used by MPEGXS, but I've also read that Ulead's encoder is very poor. However, it appears that both tools (and also Adobe Premiere) use the same Main Concept SDK.
Why are the impressions of Ulead's quality so poor, when the impressions of Main Concept, in general, appear to be good? Is it a matter of default settings, or is there something else going on...
