i would settle for a06 writing x4 to all media (then I can buy cheaper 1x media)
Since the a07 can write x8 to all media (with hack) ... figured ... x4 for all media should be possible for the a06 (with hack)!

ANOTHER RUMOR?¿?¿?¿
Someone told me that the pioneer also can be patches so it can write new DOUBLED-LAYER DVD-R.
Anybody knows about that something?
Thx,
Johny -
Also rumor. It was a sales trick to get people to buy the Pioneer over other Burners who may have been performing better in tests. The hardware of the 106 in question was modified.
