  1. Hi, Im new to this so be patient im trying to Burn a Divx film to a blank
dvd+rw and what ive done already hasnt worked.

Firstly i used NeroVision and burnt the Divx film the picture was brilliant
but the sound went out of sync half way through.

I then tried it again putting it through DrDivx ....then put the whole film through VirtualDub ...again the sound was all out of sync.

Im now putting the Divx film through TMPGEnc to see if this converts it to mpeg2 .....i am doing something wrong ...well i know i am but what?

does anyone know how or which way i burn the film on nero (in which format)......Thanks.

my process for any DVD, is

Original DVD ---> DVD Shrink ----> VOB, IFO & BUP files
    then
Nero to create an ISO image file
    then
DVD Decrypter to burn to DVD

    this has worked everytime.

I have concise instruciton if you would like them..

i take it that your file is an AVI.

if so then i highly recommend that you follow ZippyP suggestion (the first link in his signature) to remove what sounds like bad frames.

If this does not work, then where does the DivX file originate from? Is it a DVD you own?etc?

  9. throw the video into virtualdubthen click audio>ful processing mode. Then click audio>full processing mode
    then click audio>conversion
make sure it is 48000 , 16 bit, stereo,
if it currently is not, check the boxes to make it so and click >high quality"

then click OK. Then click file>save wav.
this wav will be your source and if you encode this wav file and the video file separate, you will probably be fine.
