I have a DVD that a client of mine made himself. He would like to put some of the content on his website. I need to rip the contents of the DVD (there is only one chapter that is 9 minutes long) and I guess convert it to .mov? I have DVD Squeeze which is basically just using SmartRipper and DVDx. But I cant seem to get it to work right. I used SmartRipper and it seemed to successfully rip the .vob file and whatever else it needed and then I used DVDx to convert it to .mpg but there are just so many settings, I couldn't figure out which ones to use. I converted to mpg but when I went to view the movie, the audio kept dropping about every 10 seconds and there were sync problems. All of the posts on the forums seem to be geared towards ripping DVDs to then put the contents on VCD. What is the best way to rip the DVD and then put it in the proper format for the web? THANKS.
