    Hi. the problem is this.:I made a copy from an original DVD and at DVD shrink i put only the main movie and only with portuguese subtitles. Everything went well. Then when i was going to see it at my DVD player , not at my computer i pressed the button SUB at the"remote" of the DVD so that the subtitles showed up in there. But they don't!! it only shows up saying "portuguese" but they don't show up! what do i do? i'm shore i havenīt forgot them because i put the film agen in DVD shrink and they were there. it's urgent.

    I tend to leave all subs as is, when ripping - as I've encountered some problems in this area. The subs take such small amount of space, there's virtually nothing gained (in terms of avaliable bit rate for main movie) from stripping unwanted subs.
